This section on the old layout never got beyond a placeholder yard (for operational interest, but no scenery). On this layout, it's the first thing that you see when entering the train room, so it's getting a bit more attention. The photos below show the progress here, from bench & track & basic backdrop, to fascia and beginnings of mountain scenery installed, to the painted backdrop & mocked-up building. Lots more to come as the tunnels get reinstalled and buildings gets kitbashed from the Walthers series of lumber mill kits.
