Progress has been made over the last 2 months on many fronts. Time trials have been run and timetable information/schedule has been completed. The entire operating plan has been updated and revised from the old layout. The spreadsheet was extensively revised to permit the stringline chart of schedule info to be properly displayed with time on the x-axis. About 1/3 of the rolling stock has been unpacked with only minor repairs required. Test trains have been run to verify schedule and schedules revised accordingly. Last week the PPU was run and 1 full page of problems were uncovered, including buckled track. The humidity in the house is very low now and apparently the new parts/track on the layout are adjusting themselves to this shrinkage. Repairs were completed at the power plant and also at the lumber mill and the front coupler on loco EMDX 8300 is replaced.
